OPEN CALL FOR Polish artists, researchers, activists and community members.

Are you interested to explore the topic of Post Truth? Then welcome to join the art-residency! 

​⌛When: 11-18 June, 2023
📍Where: Poznań region, Poland

”Post Truth? Countering Disinformation Narratives” is a transdisciplinary program aimed at addressing the issue of disinformation and fake news in “post-truth era”, particularly in the context of the ongoing Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The process will be curated by Seila Fernandez Arconada (https://www.seilafernandezarconada.net/)
Objectives:
☑️ to investigate the subject of post-truth, counter fake narratives and build solidarity in the struggle for truth and justice
☑️ to enhance critical thinking and media literacy skills through creative expression and collaborative engagement
☑️ to learn from the topic, local initiatives and experts
☑️ to cooperate with each other and produce artistic projects + tools to counter disinformation and seek truth in local and international realities.
Participant’s profile:
⁃ Aged 18+
⁃ with at least intermediate level of English
⁃ currently living in Poland
⁃ being present for the whole art-residence
⁃ being interested in the topic and committed to collaborate with other participants
⁃ being a practitioner in arts or other fields connected to the topic (required)

Finance:
- Meals, logistics and materials will be fully covered
- Accommodation will be covered and travel costs will be reimbursed (for non-Poznań residents only)
- A safe and inspiring space to learn and act together will be provided
